5+ years of experience in software development.  Experience with internationally recognized Brands is preferred but not required

5+ years of experience with Visual Studio.NET (C# / .NET 3.5+)5+ years of experience with SQL (Any of Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server platforms preferred)

Experience with Object-Oriented programming techniques, design patterns

Web development experience required  (MVC / RAZOR / ASP.NET, etc.)

Web services/WCF experience.

Experience in unit testing

Experience developing as part of a system including system integration

Experience developing in a client/server architecture and web application.

Good knowledge of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Effective Time Management skills.

The ability to offer suggestions and support their arguments.

·         Communicating conceptual ideas and design synthesis rationale

·         Developing and maintaining system-level requirements documents and use case models, working closely with the company's leadership to facilitate the development and delivery of products to fulfill system needs of initiative teams

·         Full lifecycle solution development including working with the business team to articulate requirements and elaborate user stories and cases

·         Storyboarding, visual modeling, creating block diagrams and writing requirements documents

·         Working with user experience researchers to design and observe usability studies; translate usability and field research findings into design improvements; work with designers and engineers to create prototypes; and review detailed interaction specifications to improve and refine product design and consistency

·         Conducting requirement reviews to improve the quality of the deliverables

·         Experience with enterprise architectures – remote method invocations, extensive XML usage, stateless designs, load balancing, SSL security, etc.

·         Experience with Database systems – MSSQL, MySQL, DB2 will be considered a plus

·         Experience working with active electronics, embedded systems and mechanical components is desirable

·         Knowledge and experience using requirements and modeling tools a plus

·         Must have applied multiple technologies, in one or more domains/industries

Escape Business Solutions seeks a skilled SharePoint Developer to create custom solutions and help provide operational support and readiness for a client company. The work of this project primarily requires a foundation in .NET application development, including designing ASP.NET web sites and interacting with various data sources, such as SQL Server and XML files. Some features will require writing custom code to interact with other applications/services in order to integrate the data between the applications.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Build and manage SharePoint based sites and workflows, leveraging extended features and custom coded functionality where necessary

Develop .NET-based web sites utilizing existing and new data sources, such as XML services and SQL databases to integrate into SharePoint and other tools

Provide operational support and readiness

Provide break/fix support for the operational environment as necessary

Provide reporting and portal server maintenance

Required Skills:

 

Intermediate to advanced development level in SharePoint

HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript
