Requirement 

COBOL, DB2 and CICS hands-on applications development experience 

Strong skills in programming

Strong analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs

Good interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members

Good communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients

Good leadership skills to guide and mentor thework of less experienced personnel

Ability to work as part of team and independently

 

Description:

Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents highly complex programs. Develops complex test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.

Designs systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. 

Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.

Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements. 

Prepares time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks and provides recommendations to project managers.

Supports project personnel in resolving fairly complex program problems. Works with client and management to resolve issuesand validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility.Provides technical advice on complex programming.

May serve as technical project lead; provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.

Provides consulting services in a technical and/or managerial capacity to management and technical staff. May represent company in presentations or conferences involving customers, co-contractors,suppliers, competitors, academia or the public.

Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Digital Arts/Design, Information Technology Art/Creative Multimedia or its equivalent.
At least 3-5 year(s) of solid working experience in the related field is required for this position.

>Will be involved in generation and analysis of test cases from functional requirements.

>Analyzes and generates test scripts from functional requirements

>Performs functional tests and logging defects

>Verifies fixed defect and updating status defects

>Performs health checks on newly deployed applications

 

Requirements:

>At least 3 year(s) of working experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies required for this position.

>Must have extensive experience in: creating, executing and managing test cases, plans and scripts.

>Adept in conducting Manual testing.

>Preferably with background in Automated testing (Selenium)

>Adept in Software Quality Assurance testing.

>Good working experience in Black box and or Grey box testing.

>Familiarity with unit test development.

3 years experience testing a web-based system is preferred.

>Good communication skills is a plus.

>BA skills or exposure and previous software programming experience is an advantage.

>Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up ?>Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.
